Define Specifications
This is usually done before a quote but sometimes is done as part of the project. Occasionally our clients hand us a specification for exactly what they want. More often, our Sales Engineers meet with clients and work out the details needed to provide an accurate quote. This process also tends to bring up potential problems, new features, and a clearer understanding of the project goals.
